u:mack are proud to announce the return to Ireland of “The most depraved man in America”, the pioneering stand up comedian Doug Stanhope. Stanhope's live performances are a visceral assault on the senses (at one gig in America, over 600 people walked out) and material ranges from true-life graphic perversion to volatile social criticism. The last time he came to Ireland for the Cat Laugh's festival in Kilkenny, he managed to perform for just 10 minutes before being asked to leave the stage and having all his remaining slots cancelled.

We haven't been as excited by an event in a long time and consider the man a true visionary, but Stanhopes material is pretty far out, if you find jokes about abortion, hookers, drugs and two headed babys offensive, this show is not for you.
